Product Clinical Overview
VRPZ-DSR combines an enteric-coated proton pump inhibitor (Pantoprazole Sodium) with sustained-release pellets of a peripheral dopamine D2-receptor antagonist (Domperidone). Formulated to address gastric hyperacidity associated with upper gastrointestinal dysmotility and gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD).

Pharmacological Mechanism of Action
Pantoprazole covalently binds to the H+/K+-ATPase proton pump of parietal cells, suppressing both basal and stimulated gastric acid secretion. Domperidone blocks peripheral dopamine receptors in the gastric wall and chemoreceptor trigger zone, accelerating gastric transit.
